"The Dancer In The Red Dress"

The inspiration behind this painting was a song by a Georgia artist Ray Charles titled "Georgia". The history of the song was centered around segregation; him not allowed to sing in a non-integrated-audience night club. The ballerina is defying the odds. It was a struggle but she kept dancing but not to their music. Victory was won!
